In the 14th match minute, Mate Galleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Marino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Mate Galleta's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Prejun came free, but Benedicto Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Nicasio Prejun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thil Khiaan and the Mate Galleta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicasio Prejun might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Basajaun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Prejun ran back to his position shaking his head. Mate Galleta's Benedicto Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Prejun in the 60th minute of play. Nicasio Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Benedicto Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Prejun in the 66th minute of the match. Nicasio Prejun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benedicto Basajaun came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicasio Prejun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 96th minute. Thil Khiaan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
