After having played for 8 minutes, Angelo Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. chadelsur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Viyurka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Danel came free, but Osvaldo Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Emesto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elvio Lluciano struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Alfredo Bero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viyurka FC. If Angelo Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Faro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Emesto saved Viyurka FC from getting behind. Alfredo Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Bero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Danilo Sindo put in a rough tackle. 70 minutes into the game, one of chadelsur:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
