The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Santikurtz during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Me Duele El Higo got a freekick which was hit by Matias Santikurtz. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Camilo Berart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gongan's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Berart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Paulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Paulin having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Gongan's goalkeeper Ernesto Theobald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Vistruario. Gongan's Ernesto Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Vistruario in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Ramon Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gongan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Egoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Vistruario in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Gongan got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Bernat. In the 58th minute, Gongan's Ramon Vasco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ramon Vasco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gongan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ramon Vasco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. If Leandro Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Vistruario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Theobald came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Me Duele El Higo's Matias Santikurtz. But to his dismay, Matias Santikurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 97th minute Leandro Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Me Duele El Higo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
