Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5391, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) ORION's Jeronimo Rainerio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Anselmo Vito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Laffitte was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 7 minutes, Anibal Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes, Romeo Benino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ledesma AFC and the ORION players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Ledesma AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ORION:s goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for ORION. Clodoveo Salomone stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Medina. 1-1. 14 minutes into the game, Felipe Gimenez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ORION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ledesma AFC the free kick. Felipe Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ledesma AFC's Miguel Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Rainerio in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ledesma AFC's zone, Anibal Elorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Medina came out of the goal and Anibal Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Ledesma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Lehoi. Miguel Medina made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Anibal Elorri sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, Anselmo Vito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edelmiro Laffitte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Aquilino Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Vito in the 37th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Ledesma AFC's Eleuterio Ibañez made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Laffitte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anibal Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Anselmo Vito's late challenge caught a ORION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Vito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Ledesma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Vito to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute Anibal Elorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ORION getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Felipe Gimenez hit a great ball. Ledesma AFC's Americo Frasco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ORION. Edelmiro Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edelmiro Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ORION's Edelmiro Laffitte got control of the ball when Anselmo Vito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Vito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Edelmiro Laffitte made a huge save. Anibal Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, ORION's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Ibañez came free, but Edelmiro Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Aquilino Ciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORION's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Ciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Rainerio notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ledesma AFC's Miguel Medina. Miguel Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ledesma AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
