The audience was convinced that Eleuterio Ibañez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Theobald was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Camilo Berart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Ledesma AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camilo Berart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gongan's goalkeeper Ernesto Theobald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, one of Ledesma AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Gongan. Ramon Vasco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Medina. 0-2. When Ramon Colas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gongan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Colas couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Colas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Medina saved Ledesma AFC from getting behind. Ledesma AFC's Edgardo Oihenarte got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Theobald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Vito in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Gongan's Camilo Berart made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Medina was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 67th minute Camilo Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gongan's Camilo Berart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Medina in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Ledesma AFC's Miguel Medina got control of the ball when Ramon Colas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute Camilo Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
