When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Abel Teofilio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Edelmiro Laffitte to make any attempt to save it. Edelmiro Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Abel Teofilio sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Orland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edelmiro Laffitte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute of the match Bernardino Perfecto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Laffitte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Orland got free with Edelmiro Laffitte in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Orland in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Anibal Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORION's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Elorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Su breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Rainerio was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Celedonio Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ORION booed when Bilardistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Sedeni didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Laffitte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ambrosio Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Bernardino Perfecto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bilardistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Bilardistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Clodoveo Salomone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Su showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Abel Teofilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Laffitte was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Orland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Laffitte. ORION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Orland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When Gervasio Cresenciano fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORION's protests and gave Gervasio Cresenciano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ORION's Gervasio Cresenciano got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vladimiro Orland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Laffitte having to interfere. Paolo Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Rainerio in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Rainerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Paolo Su was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bilardistas fully deserved thier win.
