Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) ORION's Jeronimo Rainerio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeronimo Rainerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Cloyo having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Anibal Elorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Bide hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Anibal Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Laffitte came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Malvinas FC's Silvestre Orlan. But to his dismay, Silvestre Orlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Francisco Solustiano spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ORION's goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in ORION fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Malvinas FC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucio Grabiel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ORION's Edelmiro Laffitte. 0-2. Jeronimo Rainerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Cloyo having to interfere. Felipe Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Aquilino Ciano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Solustiano to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas FC's zone, Aquilino Ciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Cloyo came out of the goal and Aquilino Ciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ORION's Gervasio Cresenciano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Edelmiro Laffitte made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lucio Grabiel sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Silvestre Orlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Orlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Laffitte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Malvinas FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Albino Feliz hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Bernardino Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Rainerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Cloyo was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Dionisio Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Rainerio in the 64th minute of the match. Jeronimo Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jeronimo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jeronimo Rainerio sped through Malvinas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dionisio Cloyo. If Anibal Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeronimo Rainerio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the ORION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Rainerio couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes, Ulises Rosario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malvinas FC and the ORION players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Jeronimo Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anibal Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ORION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Elorri couldn't finish the play. Malvinas FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ORION's much stronger midfield.
