Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeronimo Senen took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Camilo Berart came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Gongan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Berart couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Amancio Nuno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MALGANI SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gongan the free kick. After a rather tough play, MALGANI SC's Amancio Nuno got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ramon Vasco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, MALGANI SC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Berart came free, but Genaro Egoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Genaro Egoitz came out of the goal and Ramon Colas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Ramon Colas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Berart was the one to do the kick off. Astor Inge who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Theobald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, MALGANI SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Theobald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Inge in the 56th minute. After 60 played minutes MALGANI SC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Isidor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Inge got free with Ernesto Theobald in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Colas in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to MALGANI SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Amancio Nuno hit a great ball. Astor Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Camilo Berart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Egoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Gongan's Ramon Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, MALGANI SC's Jeronimo Senen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ernesto Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Senen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Gongan got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Bernat. In the 99th minute of the match MALGANI SC got a corner. Gongan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Gilabert ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 101 minutes Gongan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ariel Gilabert who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on MALGANI SC's corner Ariel Gilabert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Theobald quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gongan fans cheered their team off the field, for while MALGANI SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
