Pedro Beltxe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.D.y C.A. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Frantzes to make the kick off. Raimundo Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Papo in the 51st minute of play. Generoso Nisio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Monte in the 66th minute. If Ramiro Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Monte got free with Generoso Nisio in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
