Ruperto Honesto had great luck who in the 45thth minute grab hold of the ball when Severo Piearres from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cristian Oriol scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Honesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Gerazan made a kick off. Severo Piearres took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Honesto. Ruperto Honesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Ciudadela AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Honesto should have stopped the shot. If Cristian Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Piearres in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Honesto saved Ciudadela AFC from getting behind. Severo Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Oriol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIVER LOCURA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Cristian Oriol struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ruperto Honesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER LOCURA.
