Timoteo Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rogelio Milian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Rincón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Medero to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Gonza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Cordeara having to interfere. Burzaco's Rogelio Milian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Cuarto in the 9th minute of play. Timoteo Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Milian having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Burzaco's Guillermo Cordeara threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Iztal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Guillermo Cordeara managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Burzaco's Cesar Gonza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guillermo Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Iztal in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rincón's Cornelio Ubelteso got a free kick in the 21st minute. Joaquin Jatsu, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 29th minute, Joaquin Jatsu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rincón's Guillermo Cordeara didn't even have to move. 32 minutes into the match, Timoteo Cuarto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Burzaco's Rogelio Milian. Rogelio Milian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Cuarto in the 39th minute of play. Guillermo Cordeara made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cesar Gonza sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 44 minutes, Cesar Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burzaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Gonza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Iztal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Cordeara having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guillermo Cordeara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Iztal's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Romulo Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes in the game, Daniel Iztal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rincón's zone, Cesar Gonza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Cordeara came out of the goal and Cesar Gonza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Guillermo Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Iztal in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Cordeara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Medero in the 78th minute of play forced Burzaco's goalkeeper Rogelio Milian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rincón booed when Burzaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 86th minute when Ovidio Medero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Timoteo Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Milian having to interfere. If Timoteo Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Milian was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fermin Delfino. The Rincón players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
