The crowd rose to their feet as Cuchara Fc's Angelo Fernandes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermegildo Rutenio. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Amadeo Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Moises Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pila's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Piearres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Amadeo Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuchara Fc's zone, Moises Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Piearres came out of the goal and Moises Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Blanco struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ermegildo Rutenio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuchara Fc. 46 minutes into the match, Pila's Moises Milian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Piearres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Fernandes made a kick off. Ermegildo Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Fernandes in the 53rd minute of the match. If Moises Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuchara Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pila for a fine match.
