Pila's Ermegildo Rutenio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Gilesindo in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Mogel to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pila getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gaspar Chaime hit a great ball. The corner led Coronados FC's Gaston Argi to fire away a dangerous shot which Ermegildo Rutenio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Pila booed when Coronados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Alonzo Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pila's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Sazon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Rutenio made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Leonardo Gilesindo sent off a good shot on target. Demetrio Lusi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Rutenio having to interfere. Ermegildo Rutenio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Gilesindo in the 77th minute.
