Spectators: 6569 (Terracing: 4775, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basilio Gerazan started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pila's goalkeeper Ermegildo Rutenio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basilio Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermegildo Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Sebastian Mogel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruperto Honesto. Sebastian Mogel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Ciudadela AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Laureano Rumaldo hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Moises Milian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ruperto Honesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Sebastian Mogel lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Ruperto Honesto. In the 28th match minute, Pila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Milian to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Sauveur hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Basilio Gerazan took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Rutenio. Ermegildo Rutenio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Moises Milian came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Pila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Milian couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ciudadela AFC's Ruperto Honesto got control of the ball when Moises Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Moises Milian came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Pila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Milian couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Honesto having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Mogel to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ciudadela AFC's Laureano Rumaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Rutenio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Mogel in the 63rd minute of play forced Ciudadela AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Moises Milian sped through Ciudadela AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruperto Honesto. When Atilano Ortzi fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pila's protests and gave Atilano Ortzi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pila getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Atilano Ortzi hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Benigno Tiniebra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Basilio Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pila's Ermegildo Rutenio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pila from getting a goal against them.
