Ovidio Medero struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Ermegildo Rutenio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rincón. In the 6th match minute, Pila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Cristo Innocenzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rincón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pila the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rincón's Cristo Innocenzio got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 15th match minute, Rincón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Cordeara having to interfere. Cornelio Ubelteso kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tadeo Sauveur lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute, one of Pila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pila. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Medero to strike the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Cuarto made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 53rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ermegildo Rutenio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to Pila getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raul Ilazki hit a great ball. Rincón's Fermin Delfino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pila. If Timoteo Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ovidio Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Pila's goalkeeper Ermegildo Rutenio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Cuarto. Guillermo Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Milian in the 67th minute of play. Ovidio Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Pila's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timoteo Cuarto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Guillermo Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 90th match minute, Rincón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. Pila were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Rincón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Patxi took the corner. Ovidio Medero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ermegildo Rutenio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidio Medero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 95th minute. The Pila supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rincón's performance. The match ended with a win for Rincón.
