Clemente Jerrold scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Honesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Ramiro Papo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ruperto Honesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ramiro Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Ramiro Papo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruperto Honesto, 3-1. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Ramiro Papo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ciudadela AFC's zone, Clemente Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Honesto came out of the goal and Clemente Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, C.D.y C.A.'s Ruperto Honesto threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramiro Papo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Clemente Jerrold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Generoso Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudadela AFC's protests and gave Generoso Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. When Clemente Jerrold came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the C.D.y C.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Jerrold couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Clemente Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Ciudadela AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Roland. In the 77th minute, Ramiro Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severo Ibon got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Ciudadela AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Severo Ibon hit a great ball. Ramiro Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Honesto having to interfere. If Alejandro Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of C.D.y C.A. booed when Ciudadela AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramiro Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the C.D.y C.A. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
