But to his dismay, Cirilo Evis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd match minute, SAN MARTIN BURZACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Frans to maneuver through the defense. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the game, BackAix's Cirilo Evis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Orlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. BackAix made a substitution. Elvio Isaio replaced Mauricio Eneto. Cirilo Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Orlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. When the match was over BackAix could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SAN MARTIN BURZACO throughout the match.
