With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Camerino in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Cutberto saved Chaviyú from getting behind. Elpidio Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Acevedo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Carlos Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaviyú's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Cordarrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Virulento's Silverio Acevedo got control of the ball when Elpidio Fero tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amador Guipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Virulento fans jumped to their feet. Virulento's Timoteo Camerino got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Amador Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virulento's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Guipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Carlos Cordarrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Silverio Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hermengildo Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Virulento's protests and gave Hermengildo Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Virulento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Isusko to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Fero in the 82nd minute of play forced Virulento's goalkeeper Silverio Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
