Ivan Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Curacó's zone, Epifanio Geleberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Vistruario came out of the goal and Epifanio Geleberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Filiberto Criston fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangrejilla FC's protests and gave Filiberto Criston a yellow card for diving instead. Filiberto Criston hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Florentino Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Lauaxeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Geofredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Agustin Gaxan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Claudio Garaona kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Jonathan Misael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Wilfredo Jurgi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cangrejilla FC's Fernando Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo Demario charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Demario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Cangrejilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Hondo came free, but Fernando Geofredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Florentino Lauaxeta came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Curacó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Lauaxeta couldn't finish the play. The Cangrejilla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curacó were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Jurgi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Lauaxeta placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Fernando Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Wilfredo Jurgi scored 0-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Geofredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Curacó's Wilfredo Jurgi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When Curacó's Wilfredo Jurgi in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cangrejilla FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Florentino Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Fernando Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Jurgi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Florentino Lauaxeta took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Geofredo. Fernando Geofredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 83rd minute, Curacó's Florentino Lauaxeta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When Filiberto Criston was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. A collision led to Cangrejilla FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Filiberto Criston hit a great ball. Wilfredo Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Geofredo was a little too slow when Florentino Lauaxeta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Curacó left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cangrejilla FC.
