The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Galeno was the one to do the kick off. When Atilano Galeno came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Triple 8 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Galeno couldn't finish the play. Romulo Lia scored 0-5 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prudencio Socorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudencio Socorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Triple 8 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Triple 8 FC's Jonas Urki got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eliseo Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Villa Zapala's zone, Atilano Galeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Socorro came out of the goal and Atilano Galeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Romulo Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triple 8 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Lia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Triple 8 FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
