An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Jorrin in the 27th minute of play forced Pelayo's goalkeeper Tomás Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Carlos Bide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pelayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LMB the free kick. When Gervasio Romildo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pelayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Romildo couldn't finish the play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Abastas was the one to do the kick off. Candido Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, LMB's Venancio Vincente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Quintana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Carlos Bide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natalio Fidencio having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gervasio Romildo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natalio Fidencio. That made the score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. Dionisio Ebardo's late challenge caught a LMB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Dionisio Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelayo's attentive Candido Porfiro managed to snatch the ball when Delmar Lando made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Gervasio Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Natalio Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Pelayo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LMB throughout the match.
