Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 50) The supporters of Pelayo booed when MOYAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Efraim took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Quintana. Tomás Quintana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tomás Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Nahia in the 18th minute of play. Cristian Naelio made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ermegildo Gaizkine. Pedro Obano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Mariano Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tomás Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Edgardo Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelayo's Tomás Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Efraim in the 36th minute of play. Carlos Bide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Bide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Salomone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Gervasio Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Salomone having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Romildo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Virgilio Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Salomone having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ermegildo Gaizkine could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Tomás Quintana however easily saved by the left post. If Gervasio Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, MOYAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Romildo came free, but Dalmacio Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Candido Porfiro fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelayo's protests and gave Candido Porfiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Pelayo got a freekick which was hit by Candido Porfiro. Gervasio Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gervasio Romildo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Pelayo's goalkeeper Tomás Quintana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Eusko. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Carlos Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Bide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Salomone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervasio Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
