Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rigoberto Atauri started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Triple 8 FC's Romulo Lia made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Socorro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute Julio Eladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Santas Las Brasas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Santas Las Brasas FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Reynaldo Ekhi hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Santas Las Brasas FC's goalkeeper Hernan Socorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Lia. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Lia in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Socorro saved Santas Las Brasas FC from getting behind. Romulo Lia struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hernan Socorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triple 8 FC. When Romulo Lia came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Triple 8 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Lia couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Lia made a kick off. Atilano Galeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Romulo Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Triple 8 FC's Atilano Galeno got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Quilo's late challenge caught a Triple 8 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Quilo helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Santas Las Brasas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Quilo. After a rather tough play, Santas Las Brasas FC's Julio Eladio got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 65th play minute Guido Aznar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabian Jerardo. 2-1. In the 69th minute, Eliseo Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hernan Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Romulo Lia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Romulo Lia notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Santas Las Brasas FC's Hernan Socorro. Hernan Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Viviano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Socorro having to make a save. In the 88th match minute, Santas Las Brasas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Ekhi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Lia in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Socorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 93 minutes, Atilano Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triple 8 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Galeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95th play minutes Romulo Lia shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Hernan Socorro and just under the crossbar into goal. Triple 8 FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
