The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natalio Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Atauri in the 12th minute of play. Romeo Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Socorro having to interfere. Julio Eladio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Cleto Abastas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the LMB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Abastas couldn't finish the play. Baldomiro Rudolfo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cleto Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Socorro having to interfere. Cleto Abastas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Jorrins short, quick shot in the 49thth minute got Hernan Socorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Atauri was the one to do the kick off. Natalio Fidencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Atauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Aznar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Natalio Fidencio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 64 minutes into the match, Santas Las Brasas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Jorrin came free, but Hernan Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Santas Las Brasas FC's Rigoberto Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Fidencio was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Rigoberto Atauri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rigoberto Atauri really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Cleto Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LMB's Romeo Jorrin got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Aznar got in the 87th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Natalio Fidencio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Santas Las Brasas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
