After a defensive mix-up in Curacó's zone, Rigoberto Atauri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Vistruario came out of the goal and Rigoberto Atauri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Wilfredo Jurgi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curacó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Jurgi in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Socorro saved Santas Las Brasas FC from getting behind. Hernan Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Lauaxeta in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Atauri was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Florentino Lauaxeta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Socorro. That made the score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. Florentino Lauaxeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilfredo Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santas Las Brasas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Aznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvio Vistruario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Aznar's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Florentino Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilfredo Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Jurgi, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Wilfredo Jurgi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hernan Socorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacó. In the 93rd match minute, Santas Las Brasas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Eladio to maneuver through the defense. If Wilfredo Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
