Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Clemente Maiorga made the kick off which started today's match. Sixto Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Joseph in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes Concepción AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Chorche. After having played for 7 minutes, Gregorio Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wicks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Joseph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jose Oskitz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wicks FC's protests and gave Jose Oskitz a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wicks FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Concepción AFC. Alvaro Tabby stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francisco Acevedo. 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Marciano Formerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Concepción AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wicks FC the free kick. The supporters of Wicks FC booed when Concepción AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Wicks FC got a corner. Concepción AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornelio Chinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Savier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sixto Pinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 24 minutes into the match, Wicks FC's Gregorio Joseph sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tadeo Bartoleme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Pinto having to interfere. Gregorio Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sixto Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Concepción AFC's Isidoro Ralondo got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Gregorio Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Wicks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Joseph couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tadeo Bartoleme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wicks FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Bartoleme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Joseph in the 44th minute of play forced Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Sixto Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Concepción AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gavino Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Acevedo having to interfere. A collision led to Concepción AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Teofilo Leobardo hit a great ball. Clemente Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Francisco Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Frichoso's late challenge caught a Wicks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Concepción AFC's Sixto Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Joseph in the 73rd minute of play. Gregorio Joseph might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Joseph ran back to his position shaking his head. When Wicks FC's Tadeo Bartoleme in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Concepción AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gregorio Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Bartoleme's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Gavino Chorche struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Francisco Acevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concepción AFC. In the 94th minute, Gavino Chorche fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Francisco Acevedo, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Concepción AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
