Planet Express's Feliciano Raitin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Raitin in the 45th minute of play forced Apuyaco's goalkeeper Lino Azeari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Olo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Elvio Olo hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Ladio couldn't finish the play. Emiliano Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Azeari having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Kelemen in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Azeari saved Apuyaco from getting behind. Emiliano Xabels short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Lino Azeari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Planet Express's Feliciano Raitin in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
