An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Raitin in the 7th minute of play forced Bouvier's goalkeeper Faustino Gartzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Sol during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anier Ladio made a great header on Planet Express's corner, it was just that Bouvier's Faustino Gartzen managed to reach the ball for a save. Bouvier's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Oroitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, German Paul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Planet Express's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Ladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Gartzen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Planet Express's Faustino Gartzen threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliciano Raitin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Planet Express's Abelardo Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Gartzen made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Emiliano Xabel sent off a good shot on target. Feliciano Raitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Gartzen having to interfere. After the first half Bouvier were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliano Xabel was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Planet Express's Abelardo Egun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Gartzen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Planet Express's Feliciano Raitin in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bouvier's goalie prevented a goal. Faustino Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Xabel in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bouvier's Gualterio Bastia got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Faustino Gartzen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bouvier's Faustino Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ladio in the 90th minute of play. Feliciano Raitin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Faustino Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planet Express. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Egun in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Gartzen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Feliciano Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Planet Express were the better team. Planet Express's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
