The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of ChuaveTeam:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of tigres:s goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Fabian Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ChuaveTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Ellande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ChuaveTeam's Emanuel Karlo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Suero scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Birila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ChuaveTeam's Melchor Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Suero in the 53rd minute of play. Constantino Cefero's late challenge caught a ChuaveTeam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Cefero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ChuaveTeam booed when tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing tigres would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
