Apuyaco's Lino Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Pasqual in the 22nd minute of play. Lisandro Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Cordara in the 28th minute of the match. Lino Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Pasqual in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Real Bañil FC booed when Apuyaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lino Azeari acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Constantino Pes. Lino Azeari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Baleren in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Desiderio Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Bañil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Pasqual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Apuyaco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Pasqual stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Desiderio Pasqual left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Bañil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Baleren came free, but Lino Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Bañil FC's Desiderio Pasqual got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Danilo Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Apuyaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Cordara couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Desiderio Pasqual cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lino Azeari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Fernando Giro fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apuyaco's protests and gave Fernando Giro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Apuyaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Giro to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Pasqual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Bañil FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Apuyaco for a fine match.
