A collision led to Wicks FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hipolito Olayo hit a great ball. Francisco Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tadeo Bartoleme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wicks FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Bartoleme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd match minute, Wicks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Olayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Danilo Cordara fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Benigno Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Cordara charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Cordara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Danilo Cordara hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Benigno Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Tadeo Bartoleme notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Apuyaco's Lino Azeari. Apuyaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wicks FC the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Apuyaco's Danilo Cordara made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Acevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeo Bartoleme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Lino Azeari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eulalio Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gregorio Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lino Azeari managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Wicks FC's Tadeo Bartoleme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 79 minutes, Danilo Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apuyaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Cordara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Benigno Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apuyaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
