Sixto Pinto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Egun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Clemente Maiorga hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sixto Pinto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Venancio Rameriz. In the 9th minute, Feliciano Raitin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixto Pinto. The goal made the score 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Planet Express's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Maiorga came free, but Laureano Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Xabel succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The supporters of Planet Express booed when Concepción AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Jobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Xabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Sixto Pinto made a huge save. Clemente Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Egun hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Abelardo Egun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Planet Express's Martin Tauro got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción AFC's zone, Anier Ladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Pinto came out of the goal and Anier Ladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Concepción AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Jobo. Sixto Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Raitin in the 43rd minute of play. With his leg Sixto Pinto managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Planet Express's Anier Ladio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Concepción AFC booed when Planet Express was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Maiorga to strike the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Bernardo Franco in the 53rd minute really tested Laureano Oroitz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sixto Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Sixto Pinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planet Express. Sixto Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Gavino Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Chorche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Planet Express was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Egun to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Emiliano Xabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Xabel in the 73rd minute of the match. When Abelardo Egun came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Planet Express fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Egun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Raitin in the 76th minute of play forced Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Sixto Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Planet Express were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Concepción AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anier Ladio took the corner. Feliciano Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anier Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Planet Express had played much better football throughout.
