When Gregorio Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Wicks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Joseph couldn't finish the play. Faustino Gartzen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Tadeo Bartoleme sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Tadeo Bartoleme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Bouvier:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wicks FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Wicks FC's Cornelio Chinto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Faustino Gartzen. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Sarracino to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Hotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Acevedo having to make a save. If Tadeo Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Hotz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 58th playminute. 62 minutes into the match, Wicks FC's goalkeeper Francisco Acevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Hotz. Faustino Gartzen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Tadeo Bartoleme sped through Bouvier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Gartzen. Faustino Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Gartzen came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Wicks FC's Tadeo Bartoleme. But to his dismay, Tadeo Bartoleme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1.
