The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Albano Nayely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Ipar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 89th minute Godfredo Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Froilan Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Godfredo Pirro sped through La pandilla Perezina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Froilan Ipar. Mechongué walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
