Rodrigo Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Peru in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Dante Arotza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Chatigny skillfully saved the ball. If Dante Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Angelino Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rosendo Chatigny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Leonardo Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Martxot was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of Cobres:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cobres. Rodrigo Urtzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Bordat in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Jonas Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Bordat in the 42nd minute of the match. Cobres's Rodrigo Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Richie in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Everardo Tano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manzi FC the free kick. The supporters of Manzi FC booed when Cobres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Dante Arotza made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cobres's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Peru came free, but Rodrigo Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-2 came in the 65th minute when Roman Bordat all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Rodrigo Urtzi. The Manzi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Cobres's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
