Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) 5 minutes into the match, Carlos Corderro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Paikín's Ceferino Senon. Ceferino Senon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlos Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Senon having to interfere. If Jesus Munio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Balnearia FC's Samuel Joey got control of the ball when Gavino Florin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Carlos Corderro made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Gabriel Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Natalio Ilixo in the 61st minute really tested Ceferino Senon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paikín's Ceferino Senon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Paikín from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Gavino Florin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paikín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jesus Munio scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ceferino Senon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Jesus Munio made a precise shot to the right of Ceferino Senon. Paikín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Samuel Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Lano in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Angelo Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Angelo Lano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Carlos Corderro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paikín's Ceferino Senon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Balnearia FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
