In the 6th minute, Carlos Luke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Giraldo. The goal made the score 2-0. Julio Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FLYING WHALES getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Delmar Jenaro hit a great ball. Julio Giraldo was a little too slow when Carlos Luke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. Elpidio Caton came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Giraldo could save by the left post. 35 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Vachon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bicho a MUERTE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FLYING WHALES the free kick. A collision led to Bicho a MUERTE getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ildefonso Vachon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Luke in the 39th minute of play forced FLYING WHALES's goalkeeper Julio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Carlos Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Jenaro to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, FLYING WHALES's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Vachon came free, but Julio Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaime Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, FLYING WHALES's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Caton came free, but Julio Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Caton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Bicho a MUERTE's Augusto Fliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Giraldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ildefonso Vachon was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ildefonso Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Delmar Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Chucho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FLYING WHALES's Julio Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Ferdinand in the 90th minute of play. Jaime Ferdinand took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Giraldo. Julio Giraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jaime Ferdinand scored 6-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Giraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bicho a MUERTE had played much better football throughout.
