After a defensive mix-up in Infiniti CAI's zone, Santo Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Cordario came out of the goal and Santo Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Noe hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Santo Fonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toroyaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Fonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Santo Fonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Cordario was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Infiniti CAI's Fidel Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Fonso in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jeremias Montrelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Galsino in the 53rd minute of play. If Santo Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santo Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Fonso in the 72nd minute of the match. If Vicente Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toroyaco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
