When Fausto Celino fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunampa's protests and gave Fausto Celino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pirovano AFC booed when Sunampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Celestino Galtero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Vedillo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Ramone got free with Uriel Vedillo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidio Mark in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Neto saved Pirovano AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Pirovano AFC's Cipriano Ramone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uriel Vedillo. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. Clemente Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Mark in the 33rd minute of the match. If Ovidio Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Cipriano Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Uriel Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Illan in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ovidio Mark fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pirovano AFC's Clemente Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Mark in the 57th minute of play. Luis Domingues hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pirovano AFC's zone, Fausto Celino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Neto came out of the goal and Fausto Celino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pirovano AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patricio Ubendu hit a great ball. With his leg Clemente Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Sunampa's Fausto Celino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd match minute, Pirovano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Ubendu to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Celino came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Clemente Neto could save by the left post. Uriel Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Dabi in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Dario Muc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunampa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirovano AFC the free kick. A collision led to Sunampa getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dario Muc hit a great ball. Pirovano AFC's Gogo Refugio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirovano AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Ovidio Mark scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Neto, making the score, 3-1.
