Candido Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Tiburcio Hulberto came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the CAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Hulberto couldn't finish the play. The supporters of CAN FC booed when Harestua IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Astudillo having to interfere. Tiburcio Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Hulberto's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Ernesto Cheche shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candido Astudillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Candido Astudillo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by CAN FC's Tiburcio Hulberto. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Hulberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Desiderio Quentin struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Camilo Mikelar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestua IL. Harestua IL's Gonzalo Bras got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Gonzalo Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Desiderio Quentin ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 65 minutes, Gonzalo Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harestua IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Bras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tiburcio Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes of play, CAN FC's Tiburcio Hulberto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! German Godoy struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Candido Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAN FC. In the 85th minute, Matias Sustrai fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Candido Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Sustrai in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Desiderio Quentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harestua IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Quentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Mikelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Gervaso charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Gervaso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Julio Gervaso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Candido Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Harestua IL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CAN FC's performance. The match ended with a win for CAN FC.
