Spectators: 5150 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) Palomar F.C.'s Ovidio Ihintza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Palomar F.C.'s Ovidio Ihintza got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Jorge Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Frans's late challenge caught a Palomar F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Frans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Osvaldo Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Barrionuevo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Erubiel Barrionuevo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored isotopos's protests and gave Erubiel Barrionuevo a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes isotopos got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Barrionuevo. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Urbano Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palomar F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Maurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Palomar F.C.'s Ovidio Ihintza in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye isotopos's goalie prevented a goal. Osvaldo Maurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Ihintza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Juan Millan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Palomar F.C.'s Florencio Gartzea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Florencio Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Maurin having to interfere. Ovidio Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florencio Gartzea took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Maurin. Osvaldo Maurin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Erubiel Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ovidio Ihintza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Maurin was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Ovidio Ihintza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42nd play minutes Ovidio Ihintza shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Osvaldo Maurin and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Palomar F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Dodorol to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, isotopos's goalkeeper Osvaldo Maurin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Ihintza. Ovidio Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, isotopos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Urbano Havier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Palomar F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Orlando Javiar hit a great ball. isotopos's Natalio Dodorol got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, isotopos's Osvaldo Eliazar got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Ovidio Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomar F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, isotopos's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Gartzea came free, but Osvaldo Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Osvaldo Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Maurin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Ihintza's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Eduardo Raymundo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Osvaldo Maurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palomar F.C.. In the 84th minute Ovidio Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Maurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Ovidio Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomar F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Palomar F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than isotopos.
