After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valcheta! In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Harestua IL. Erubiel Resto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruperto Paul. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Haritzeder in the 12th minute of play forced Harestua IL's goalkeeper Candido Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Ignazio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Erubiel Resto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ruperto Paul made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Valcheta's goalkeeper Ruperto Paul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Bras. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Eulalio Ignazio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valcheta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eulalio Ignazio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Eutor hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Jacinto Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gilberto Eutor came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Valcheta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Eutor couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harestua IL's goalkeeper Candido Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilberto Eutor, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jacinto Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Candido Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Quentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Candido Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Ignazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Gonzalo Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Damaso Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Ignazio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Eulalio Ignazio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Candido Astudillo. The goal made the score 1-2. If Flavio Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Jacinto Haritzeder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valcheta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ruperto Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Bras in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Harestua IL's zone, Jacinto Haritzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Astudillo came out of the goal and Jacinto Haritzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jacinto Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Eulalio Ignazio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Candido Astudillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
