After 4 played minutes Uturango FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Domenec. Cristobal Bieito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Martxot having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SC Quarz United's Anacleto Obano got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, SC Quarz United's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ekialde came free, but Leonides Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lorenzo Stephen came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Uturango FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Stephen couldn't finish the play. Vladimiro Furman's late challenge caught a Uturango FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Furman helped the player get up and apologised. When Anacleto Obano fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Quarz United's protests and gave Anacleto Obano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, SC Quarz United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Obano to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Berbiz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Astor Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Quarz United. In the 30th minute, Igor Ekialde fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 33 minutes, Nunez Elizardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Quarz United and the Uturango FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Nunez Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Igor Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Uturango FC's Lorenzo Stephen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Sandaili was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Uturango FC's Igor Ekialde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Sandaili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Igor Ekialde took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leonides Sandaili to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Berbiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Quarz United booed when Uturango FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Bieito hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Uturango FC's Lorenzo Stephen in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Quarz United's goalie prevented a goal. When Anacleto Obano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Anacleto Obano kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Uturango FC's Igor Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play SC Quarz United's Vladimiro Furman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to SC Quarz United getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Vladimiro Furman hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Igor Ekialde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uturango FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 67th minute, Anibal Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Ekialde in the 68th minute of the match. If Lorenzo Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Ekialde in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, SC Quarz United's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Stephen came free, but Leonides Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Nuno's late challenge caught a Uturango FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in SC Quarz United's zone, Lorenzo Stephen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Sandaili came out of the goal and Lorenzo Stephen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, SC Quarz United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Sandaili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
