The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, German Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibicuy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Silvestre Jerold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ·Doppa· F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibicuy AFC the free kick. Silvestre Jerold kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ibicuy AFC's Israel Azubeli got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind ·Doppa· F.C's goalkeeper Gonzalo Frances, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes, Virgilio Gonza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ·Doppa· F.C and the Ibicuy AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Baldomero Lordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibicuy AFC's Leopoldo Tiniebra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of ·Doppa· F.C booed when Ibicuy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonzalo Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Ladio in the 34th minute of the match. Leopoldo Tiniebra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Gitano in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Oscar Gitano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leopoldo Tiniebra, passed just outside the right post. Sixto Innocenzio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Baldomero Lordi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Lordi made a kick off. Baldomero Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leopoldo Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ·Doppa· F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardino Rosario in the 57th minute. ·Doppa· F.C's Baldomero Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ·Doppa· F.C's zone, German Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Frances came out of the goal and German Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 played minutes ·Doppa· F.C got a freekick which was hit by Dante George. Gonzalo Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Vidal in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind ·Doppa· F.C's goalkeeper Gonzalo Frances, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. German Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gonzalo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Rosario in the 84th minute of play forced Ibicuy AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Frances made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Rosendo Ladio sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibicuy AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Tiniebra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
