Spectators: 6798 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florencio Leguizamón took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eloy Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Florencio Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Xabel's late challenge caught a Matilde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Xabel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Matilde FC booed when Miramar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Leguizamón struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Arnulfo Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matilde FC. Victor Chayo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Victor Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eloy Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Christian Berdoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eloy Kinsen firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 43 minutes of play, Matilde FC's Florencio Leguizamón made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Xabel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remigio Dino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Xabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Matilde FC's Prospero Serafo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnulfo Xabel. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the match, Miramar's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Leguizamón came free, but Arnulfo Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christian Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Chayo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Kinsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. Ignacio Xabel was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ignacio Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Matilde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Serafo to maneuver through the defense. Christian Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eloy Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christian Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guido Hermelando came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Miramar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Hermelando couldn't finish the play. Matilde FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
