SC Quarz United's Leonides Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Estevon in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Estevon in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Sandaili saved SC Quarz United from getting behind. Cristobal Bieito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Apolo Admon made a huge save. Gaspar Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Frances came free in the 70th minute and tried to tip the ball over Leonides Sandaili, but to the joy of SC Quarz United's supporters the ball went over. After 73 minutes, Braulio Abascal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Bestias FC and the SC Quarz United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Quarz United booed when Las Bestias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
