A wasted opportunity for SC Quarz United. 8 minutes into the match, ·Doppa· F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Berbiz came free, but Gonzalo Frances reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gonzalo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Oscar Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Gitano in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Oscar Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. ·Doppa· F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Sandaili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Berbiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, SC Quarz United's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Gitano came free, but Leonides Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes SC Quarz United got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Furman. Cristobal Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gonzalo Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Lordi was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Bieito in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Frances prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristobal Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of ·Doppa· F.C booed when SC Quarz United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ·Doppa· F.C's Gonzalo Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Berbiz in the 74th minute of play. Gonzalo Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Berbiz in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by ·Doppa· F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anibal Xabat was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Quarz United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led SC Quarz United's Anibal Xabat to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonzalo Frances despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Cristobal Bieito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Frances. ·Doppa· F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Bieito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Quarz United had won after a very even match.
