An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Liher in the 3rd minute of play forced Rojo de Bernal's goalkeeper Ignacio Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Farias during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ignacio Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Rojo de Bernal defense, Paulino Etxekopar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Panfilo. The Rojo de Bernal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Panfilo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Crispo was the one to do the kick off. Ignacio Panfilo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bernardino Liher sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Panfilo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Inocencio Luzea. After 68 played minutes Rojo de Bernal got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Rozarius. In the 72nd minute, Bernardino Liher made a precise shot to the right of Ignacio Panfilo. Rojo de Bernal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ignacio Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Etxekopar in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Angelino Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Funebrero FC's zone, Ezequiel Crispo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Basajaun came out of the goal and Ezequiel Crispo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Rojo de Bernal's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Etxekopar came free, but Ignacio Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game Paulino Etxekopar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rojo de Bernal's Ignacio Panfilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Rojo de Bernal getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Guillermo Lucian hit a great ball. Funebrero FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
