The supporters of Xeneize Sureño booed when Matilde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Benjamin Montxo in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Xeneize Sureño's Isaias Feo. Eloy Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Panfilo in the 44th minute of play. Eloy Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Stanislao, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half.
