Spectators: 7129 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Ekialde started the match with the kick off. Lorenzo Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Leopoldo Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Uturango FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Uturango FC's Lorenzo Stephen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Uturango FC's Igor Ekialde in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibicuy AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When German Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ibicuy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Vidal couldn't finish the play. Astor Martxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Uturango FC's Igor Ekialde made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Tiniebra was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Ibicuy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Azubeli. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Tavio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ibicuy AFC's Leopoldo Tiniebra didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Igor Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uturango FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Ekialde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Tiniebra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Uturango FC's Astor Martxot got control of the ball when German Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Tiniebra having to interfere. Leopoldo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Ekialde in the 33rd minute of play. Leopoldo Tiniebra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Ekialde in the 38th minute of play forced Ibicuy AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Lorenzo Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Tiniebra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Martxot made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rosendo Ladio sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute Lorenzo Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Tiniebra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A nice corner shot did that Cristian Tavio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leopoldo Tiniebra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Igor Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ibicuy AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Israel Azubeli hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Ekialde in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Tiniebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 76 minutes, Lorenzo Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uturango FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Stephen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Ekialde in the 78th minute of play. If Lorenzo Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Lorenzo Stephens short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Leopoldo Tiniebra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 96 minutes into the game, Igor Ekialde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Tiniebra. Igor Ekialde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Uturango FC played a much better game than Ibicuy AFC and deserved their victory. The Ibicuy AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
